Gluten and Autism Spectrum Disorder

An expanding body of literature is examining connections between Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and dietary interventions. While a number specialist diets have been suggested as beneficial in ASD, gluten has received particularly close attention potentially exacerbating factor. Reports exist suggesting effect the gluten-free diet (GFD) ameliorating behavioural intellectual problems associated with while epidemiological research also shown comorbidity ASD coeliac disease.
